In the service of others Pt. 1
Dear one,
One of the hardest lessens on the spiritual path was and still is how to truly be in the service of others.
I promised I won't bore you with clichés and that we will keep it sincere so there it goes.
At first, after years of reading the good books, thinking the good thoughts and saying the right words, I thought I was and always have been good, kind and generous - an angel walking the Earth. In a way, that was true. Was it coming from a good place? Not really. Were my intentions as pure as I thought? Not so much.
You see, from the very beginning (and I mean early childhood), I set a very important rule for the journey I was going to embark on: I must always search for the truth, no matter how hard it is to see it.
Of course, one cannot find the absolute truth, but one is responsible for his own little world and in that little world, there are lies, there are shadows and there are truths.
Light must touch them all.

I asked Divinity (whatever its form) to always guide me towards the truth, no matter how painful it might be. A North Star... a Lighthouse...

... and the Divinity delivered.
In order to evolve, once must look inside, really look. And I tell you, if what you see does not scare you, does not break your heart and shatter your world, then you are not looking hard enough. One will eventually see the lies, the half truths ... all the mists of the soul.
Then step by step one will destroy and rebuild himself, and with time, one will be ready to learn. Eventually we see that good itself is a complex force, one that we ourselves cannot comprehend, we can only set it as a true intention ... another lighthouse on the sea.
And when there is enough light inside, we see that it's good. We see the light trying to reach other souls and we somehow know we can help this process and that we can play a part. Not by being in charge but by stepping in when we are needed and...
... because it is beautiful.
